Reading Civic Theatre is happy to announce the 9th Annual “Celebrate the Arts” Gala. Since 1914, RCT has been presenting high quality musical theatre productions to Berks and surrounding community audiences. In addition to our members, sponsors and patrons, we look to the next generation of “Stars” to shine a light on Berks County with their talent. It is with this in mind that we are presenting a Scholarship Competition at the Gala to premiere up and coming students.

Reading Civic Theatre contacted Berks County High Schools and organizations involved in voice and theatre to identify students in the Junior and Senior grades who show exceptional talent and determination in their craft. Over 25 candidates auditioned for the ten finalist  positions selected by the gala committee. Find out who's performing!

In addition to the competition, there will be dinner, dessert, and raffles! Please join Reading Civic Theatre in celebrating the Berks County arts community and its talented, young vocalists.
